About the Chamber
The Loxton Chamber of Commerce unites the local business community through marketing, advocacy, leadership and representation.
As the voice of local business, we foster productive and strategic partnerships with key community stakeholders and the District Council of Loxton Waikerie to encourage effective and integrated economic development.
Our successful alliance enables us to stimulate our local economy through a positive television campaign, business to business collaborations, special events and shopping promotions.
The Loxton Chamber of Commerce is governed by an Executive Committee of 9 volunteers. The team consists of a cross-section of local business owners, providing fair and equitable representation.
A Business and Events Manager is employed to deliver membership benefits, facilitate projects, organise events and provide resources and support for best practice management.
To promote and further develop the Loxton business community, to benefit the generations of today and tomorrow.
The Loxton Chamber of Commerce aims to improve district’s economic vitality and sustainability through the success of its member businesses. Guided by a strong sense of community, the Loxton Chamber of Commerce will endeavour to create a diverse, unique and vibrant area that attracts growth and investment.

The Loxton Chamber of Commerce is defined by our strong branding message: Loxton Means Business. It is woven into every aspect of our advertising and clearly reflects our vision and mission.
This brand distinguishes our members and is recognised by customers who are searching for reputable businesses.
We are a proactive and evolving organisation. As a result we have just introduced a new logo that embodies this and depicts:
- Blue wave of our position on the river
- Green section for agriculture around the area
- Dots of difference sizes and colours showing the broad and diverse range of members
- Clustering of dots showing business to business collaboration within our members
- Font reflecting the Loxton sign in the centre of town
As a member of the Loxton Chamber of Commerce you will form part of a motivated, passionate and resourceful network of people who are actively contributing to the economic environment and growth of Loxton.
With the support of the Chamber we can help your business thrive by reaching potential customers and clients through key marketing strategies that may normally be beyond the scope of small business.
There are many advantages to becoming a member of the Chamber including networking and connecting with other businesses, exchanging ideas, sharing knowledge, training and skills development.
All businesses in and around the Loxton area are welcome in our Chamber including home-based, online, bricks’n’mortar, professional services, industry and trades. We are unique in that the majority of our members are family owned or independently run, with nearly 80% based outside of Loxton’s central shopping strip.
The Loxton Chamber of Commerce membership runs on a financial year basis and is open for renewals or introducing new members between 1st July and mid August annually.
