Loxton Lights Up - November 29th
This is the day Loxton officially turns on its magic. Enjoy strolling through the shops and market stalls, visit Santa in his cave, sip a cook drink or munch on scrumptious food while soaking up the entertainment or partaking in various activities available on the day.
When the sun finally sinks behind the river gums, the fireworks begin. After the spectacular display it's time to drive around town and wonder at the fairy land that Loxton becomes after dark. Sheer magic! Fairy lights twinke all over town, reindeers prance on front lawns, but the true meaning of Christmas is not forgotten either.

  • Shopping: Loxton businessess will be trading all day from 9am to 8.30pm so come along and kick-start your Christmas shopping in the carnival type atmosphere with markets stalls, rides and local entertainers.
  • Santa's Cave: Be sure to call in have your photo taken with Santa. His cave in East Tce is truly magical and sure to impress both the young and young at heart. He has a gift for each of the children who visits his cave. A gold coin donation would be appreciated.
